March 16, Evening Meeting:
We are delighted to have CBQ member Cat Wallace as our speaker this month. Long-arm quilter Cat will present a trunk show of her quilts and share stories of her quilting adventures. Our previously announced guest speaker, Susan Bailey of Ryan’s Case for Smiles, will be rescheduled to sometime after January.  Thank you, Cat, for stepping in on short notice.

On-going projects: Continue or start anytime, to bring 6.5″ squares and 1.5″ x 10.5″ strips of garden-related fabrics as we continue our year-long swap.  By next July you will have enough variety to make a huge Garden Lattice quilt or a number of smaller items.  Also, bring any table toppers you have made as we will start giving them to the Senior Center as a thank you for the use of their room.

Second Saturday Sewing:
Grand Terrace City Hall/Community Room, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on the second Saturday of every month.
Bring your own project to work on or join in on making seasonal table toppers for the Senior Center – think Winter/Christmas or Valentine – related fabrics for the upcoming holidays.  Come for a little bit or for all day.  Bring your own food and beverage. Saturday sew days are open to all CBQ members.
