Community Service Challenge
At our May meeting we heard from representatives of Santa Claus Inc. (SCI), and from Mary Aslanis regarding SCI project to have young girl totes/purse for Santa Claus Inc.’s gift bags this year. They will need around 450. Mary has made over 100 to date.

CBQ has chosen to make a challenge of making these cute small tote/purses. You may either use your own fabric or you may pick up the inside of the purse as well as outer fabric for the purse at our June meeting. The Challenge part will be that you will turn in your newly made purse at our AUGUST meeting (note change of turn in month). We will have “judges’ on hand to award the following categories:
1. Novelty;   2. too cute;  3. swell embellishment. Click here for the PFD pattern/instructions
